Our Story

hitchVA was founded by Jun Allego in Singapore. A few years later, he invited his sister, Angelie Balagosa, to help him out. In 2023, hitchVA expanded to Australia.

Jun and Angelie were born and raised in a humble family in the Philippines. Growing up, they experienced poverty and resilience; their family used education as the vehicle to a better life. They migrated to Singapore and Australia, respectively, in their 30s to widen their horizons.

As a passionate Speaker, Trainer, and Coach, Jun has reached more than 50,000 individuals from diverse backgrounds, age groups, and organizations internationally. He has joined various training organizations including non-profits like Toastmasters International. Being a team sports fanatic, Jun advocates the importance of being able to connect and relate well with people.

Angelie’s decade-long corporate career gave her firsthand experience in the world of outsourcing and recruitment. She built her leadership toolkit from working alongside exceptional leaders and mentors throughout her career. A learner for life, she is either learning a new skill or sharpening her saw.
